SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

DIVE INTO OUR DEVELOPMENT PROCESS RS Technosys is a team of innovative and creative engineers, expert in custom web and mobile apps development. We can develop user friendly and rich user experience powered with strong back-end/middleware service. But it?s all possible when you will be involved into our development process from day one. Step 1

STRATEGY

(Learning, Analyses & Planning)
Learning:
Here we communicate with you and play questionnaire to understand your business needs, workflow, challenges, obstacles, objectives, user-experiences and your expectations.
Analyses:
After understanding your all business requirements and objectives we need to dive into subject and find out the accurate solution for your business. To do so, usually we communicate and cross-question to technical adviser, solution engineer, business consultant, domain experts, QA team and stakeholder to get best possible solution. It also helps to identify feasibility, risk & mitigation and any legacy support (if any).
Planning:
Nothing gonna happen without plan, it plays vital role in successful project management , that?s why here we have to prepare development-plan, work-breakdown-plan, test-plan, integration-plan, risk-mitigation-plan, cost-schedule-plan, optimization-plan, deployment-plan, support-plan even more. Step 2

DESIGN

(Prototype and Usability Testing)
It?s time to design a prototype which is a simulation of end-result using wireframe, mock screens and sample data-set. Prototype helps to understand the real experience of the project. The design plays vital role to validate the idea/concept, whether it is same as expected. We go through usability testing to evaluate the application flow, user-friendliness, color-theme and key feature visibility. The phase also include Data Design, Architecture Design, Interface Design and Procedural Design. Step 3

DEVELOPMENT

(It?s coding time on Agile Model)
After strategy and design it?s time to get into the real job. Here we select appropriate technology stack which suits on your project. Technology is the heart of any software-project. Our development model is based on Agile Methodology to handle development process and keep the business transparent with you. The model executes development in different sprints(iteration) and each includes requirement-prioritization,coding, unit testing, integration-testing, validation, verification, debugging, code reviews, optimization, src-code docs, sprint- release, review then move to next sprint. Step 4

QUALITY ASSURANCE

(Software Testing and Quality Measures)
Quality Assurance(QA) is an integral part of software-lifecycle. Here at RS Technosys Quality checks are performed at every stage of lifecycle and follow the best practices of design, development and deployment to produce the quality product. Testing is performed in different ways including unit testing, integration testing, user-experience(UX) testing, load testing and even more. Step 5

DEPLOYMENT & MORE

(Implementation and Support)
After successful deployment of project in production, now it?s time to maintain and support in various ways like enhancement, changes, performance-tuning, scaling, up-time monitoring, regular backup, other application integration needs and more. Relationship forever.

30 Latest WhatsApp Hidden Features, Tips, and Tricks To Know In 2020

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps with more than one billion active users. New features are actively added to the app and every few weeks we come across an interesting edition. So, what are all the new WhatsApp changes that you should know about?

If you frequently use WhatsApp for professional or personal reasons and are looking for ways to enhance your chatting experience, here are some useful Whatsapp Latest tips and tricks that you can benefit from.

Also Read: WhatsApp UPI Payment Hits Beta Users; Public Roll Out Soon

1. Hide WhatsApp group photos and videos from gallery

Most of us don’t have much control over what content is pushed to our phones via WhatsApp groups, and this content showing up in your phone’s gallery can be a huge problem.

WhatsApp has now added the option to hide media from particular groups in the gallery. Just open a WhatsApp group and tap on the group name to access the option (as shown in the image). This method won’t remove already existing WhatsApp images in your gallery (you will have to delete them) and will hide new incoming media only.

2. Secure your WhatsApp using Fingerprint lock

You can also secure your WhatsApp using fingerprint unlock. This way, only people who have their fingers registered on their phones will be able to access WhatsApp. To do so, go to settings >> Accounts >> Privacy and scroll down to fingerprint lock.

Before using the fingerprint unlock, you must know that in case the fingerprint authentication fails, there is no option to unlock using pattern.

Also check: How to bypass WhatsApp Fingerprint lock without root

3. Hide particular contacts from viewing your story

Stories are a great way of expressing your mood and can be quite personal. If you don’t want to share them with all WhatsApp contacts, you can prohibit particular contacts from viewing your status updates or stories as they now stand.

  • Go to WhatsApp settings>> Account>> Privacy
  • Select Status>> ?My contacts except?
  • Now select specific contacts you wish to avoid and tap the tick mark below.

You can also select the ?Only share with? option if you wish to share status updates only with a small number of specific contacts.

4. Read messages without being given away by Blue Ticks

If you wish to read a WhatsApp message without the sender knowing, there are a couple of ways you could do that.

  • You can disable blue ticks altogether (Settings>>Account>>Privacy>> uncheck Read Receipts), but then you won?t be able to see if others have read your message either.

  • You could read the message from the notification panel. To read multiple or long messages just tap and swipe down the notification in the notification panel to stretch it. This is more suited as a temporary measure for ultimately you will have to get rid of the notification for good.
  • Alternately, simply turn on AirPlane mode, read the message and then turn the AirPlane mode off. This way, you can read a particular message without disabling read receipts and without the sender knowing.

5. Delete message after you have sent them

This is one feature that WhatsApp added in late 2017. The App now allows you to ‘unsend’ messages that you have already sent, but there is a catch. The feature works for messages sent in the last 60 minutes.

Also, the delete message feature will be rendered ineffective, even within the 7-minute time frame, if someone has already quoted your message.

  • Long press a message
  • Select delete for everyone.

6. Read deleted messages on WhatsApp

There is a way to read messages that your friends have deleted from their end. Just download a notification log app and grant access to read the notification. This app will keep a log of all incoming notifications and will also come in handy when you wish to retrieve a notification you have accidentally swiped off.

7. Auto answer WhatsApp messages

If you use WhatsApp for professional reasons and wish to add an automatic reply message to WhatsApp conversations, there are several apps you can use to achieve that. One app you can try is Auto Reply for WhatsApp.

We have covered ways to accomplish the same in a separate article that you can refer too.

8. Schedule WhatsApp messages

To schedule WhatsApp messages for groups or individual contacts, you can download the Scheduler app for WhatsApp. After granting it Accessibility permission, you can fill in the required fields and schedule your message.

9. Delete images or videos from a particular WhatsApp group or contact

If a particular WhatsApp group or contact is hogging storage space, you can delete messages, chats, videos, and audio from a specific WhatsApp group.

  • Go to Settings>> ‘Data and Storage usage’
  • Select ?Storage Usage? and you will see all groups and contacts ranked according to the storage space they are hogging.
  • Select the group and tap on the ?manage messages? option at the bottom.
  • Now, select and clear whatever data (videos, GIFs, Photos, etc.) that you wish to get rid of.

10. Share Live Location (Real Time)

You can now share the live location with your contacts. The location is updated in real-time and you can keep a tab on exact whereabouts of specific contacts. You can share location for 15 minutes, 1 Hour or 8 Hours straight.

  • To do so, just tap the attachment icon in the text input field.
  • Now select ‘location’ and then select ?Share Live Location.

11. Limit data used by WhatsApp

To restrict the data consumed by the app, this is what you need to do.

Go to settings>>Data and Storage usage

From here you can decide what all media (Photos, videos, documents, audio) the app can download while eating your data.

12. Assign different priority and sound to different notifications.

WhatsApp has added support for ?Notification Channels?, an Android Oreo feature that can be used to set priority for different types of notifications coming from the same app.

So, you can decide if you need group messages to pop up or not. You can also assign them a priority level to determine how often they make it to the notification panel. To avail this feature, you will need Android Oreo support. If you are running Android Oreo, just go to the app info page (you can also do this by long-pressing app notifications) and then select the manage notification option.

You can also assign a different sound to different types of notifications from here.

13. Pin conversation or make shortcuts

If you wish to keep a particular contact or conversation on top. You can simply long-press the conversation and select the Pin icon in the options menu that appears on top. You can also press the triple dot menu and select create shortcut option to place the conservation shortcut on the main page.

14. Mark messages to answer later

If you have read a message but wish to answer it later, you can simply long-press the conversation head in the ?Chat? tab and select ?mark as unread? option.

This won?t erase ?Blue ticks? or read receipts but will mark the message with a bloated green dot that will serve as a reminder. You can later answer the text at your own volition.

15. Hide a WhatsApp chat

People whom you have recently talked to appear closer to the top in your WhatsApp chat list. If you don?t want a particular conversation to be conspicuous, you can hide it as ?Archive?.

Just long-press the conversation and select the Archive button on the top. This particular chat will now disappear from the list. You can access it by scrolling all the way to the bottom.

16. Check exactly when a particular person read your Whatsapp message

Blue ticks notify you that your message has been read, but they don?t tell you when exactly your contact read the message. Here is how you can check the same:

  • Long press the particular message you wish to inquire about.
  • Now press the ?i? icon in the top bar and you will see when the person reads your message.

17. Mark message and easily find them later

If you wish to mark and preserve interesting or important messages (Like address, phone numbers, reference numbers, important images, etc.) that you wish to refer to later, there is a way you can do that.

  • Just long-press a message and tap the star icon in the top menu.
  • You can retrieve stared messages by tapping the triple dot menu icon on the home screen.

18. Format WhatsApp Messages: Change font, Bold, italics, strikethrough

You can also format fonts of your WhatsApp messages. To do so, just long-press the portion of text you wish to format after typing it in the message input field. Now you will get the option to change the format to bold, strikethrough, or italics. You can also ?Monospace? option to change the font.

Change the phone number associated with your account.

You can manually format test as follows

  • *ABC* = ABC
  • _ABC_ = ABC
  • ~ABC~ = ABC

19. Quote messages

To quote WhatsApp messages, just long-press a text message and select the backward arrow from the top menu. You can now enter your text here.

20. Transfer files between PC and Phone using WhatsApp

You can also transfer files between PC and mobile phones using Whatsapp.

  • First, send the file you wish to share with any contact
  • Now open the WhatsApp web on your PC.
  • From here, you can download media or other file types from the chat window to your PC. Or upload a file and then access it on your phone.

21. Email your chat conversations

You can also email the entire conversation with a contact. To do so, go to Settings>> Chat>> Chat History.

Now select the option to ?Email Chat?. Select the conversation you wish to export (with or without media) and then complete the process using any email app of your choice. The Chat will be mailed as a .txt attachment.

22. Set Privacy options

You can decide who gets to see your profile pics, last scene, and other such details. You can find all these privacy options listed under Settings>> Account>> Privacy.

23. Backup data on Google Drive

Backing up WhatsApp data on Google drive gives you a convenient way to restore your chat messages and media when you switch your phone or reinstall WhatsApp.

Go to Settings>> Chat>> Chat Backup. From here you can select how frequently WhatsApp should backup your data to Google drive (Daily, Weekly, Monthy, When you Tap Backup or never).

24. Change WhatsApp number

If you are discontinuing the number registered with WhatsApp, you can replace it with your new number and keep using the same WhatsApp account.

Now select an image from your gallery or from any other folder, adjust it and apply it. You can also choose from WhatsApps own set of wallpapers.

26. Hide notification from the lock screen

For some extra privacy, you can hide WhatsApp notification from the lock screen. To do so, just long-press on a WhatsApp notification. Then tap on ‘Details’. From the next screen, you can choose to hide messages on the lock screen.

27. Make UPI payments

WhatsApp has added UPI payment option support and using it you can conveniently transfer money to your friends without leaving the app.

The option is accessible from within the chat window. Just tap on the attachment icon and find a payment option where the camera icon used to be.

28. Send long duration audio recordings

WhatsApp has added another new feature that lets users send long Audio messages. You can now press and hold the microphone icon and then slide it to a lock button. Now you can record long messages hands-free.

29. Hear voice messages privately via earpiece

Did you know that you can hear Voice messages you receive on WhatsApp using your phone’s earpiece (one that you use to hear other persons voice during phone calls)?

Just play a WhatsApp voice recorded message, and lift the phone to your ear – the same way that you’d attend a phone call – and the message will automatically start playing via the earpiece.

30. Whatsapp Sticker packs

WhatsApp has also added a rich collection of expressive stickers next to Smileys and GIF options. Users can download different sticker packs, rearrange them, add personal ones and even use third-party apps like ‘Personal Stickers for WhatsApp’ to further customize them.

It’s 2019 after all, and stickers are all the rage!

TikTok?s New Viral Challenge Is Dangerous: Parents Stop Your Kids From Doing Skullbreaker Challenge!

TikTok?s New Viral Challenge Is Dangerous: Parents Stop Your Kids From Doing Skullbreaker Challenge!
Smartphones and mobile internet have revamped our lives in unquestionable ways. There have been various threats posed by these smartphones and their modern-day apps. The latest in the list is a trend that has been going viral on the popular video app Tik Tok.

    The Skullbreaker Challenge

The latest social media trend to grab eyeballs and the attention of authorities, the Skullbreaker challenge, unlike most of its contemporaries, is dangerous and even life-threatening.
This bizarre challenge, also called tripping jump, has been taken up by several students across Europe and South America. We are yet to see a video from India, but we don?t want to speak too soon.
The challenge gets its name from the Spanish word Rompcráneos, which in English translates to ?Skullbreaker?. It started off as a joke between two school students in Spain but soon went viral on TikTok and many users posted their videos doing this prank.
In this painful and nasty challenge, three people stand side by side. The person in the middle jumps high while those on the sides kick the jumper?s legs just when he is about to land. This leads to the middle person losing his stature and landing flat on his back and in many cases with chances of severe head injury.

    Mobile-Desktop-Post-Middle-Fluid-Dec2017

Like with most social media trends, it is unknown who first came up with it. However, one of the first videos that went viral was shot in a school in Venezuela. It then went on to trend in Europe and United States.

Parents and School Authorities on High Alert!

This Skullbreaker challenge is nothing but life-threatening. Many school students have taken this challenge and filmed themselves doing so. Some even ended up in intensive care after conducting it.
Schoolgirls in Mexico also used the arms of a sweater to trip their classmate as seen on one of the TikTok videos. Several European schools have issued warnings and advisories to create awareness about this challenge.
Doctors have said that this prank can lead to serious fractures. In a free fall, doctors warn, there are chances of fracturing the knee, ankle, hip and other joint and there are also chances of ligament tear. If you are very unlucky, you might also end up hitting your head, splitting your skull or getting a concussion.
A mother from Arizona took to Facebook after her son was admitted to the hospital with a head injury, stitches to his face, and severe cuts to his mouth. She clarifies in the post that her son was told it was a ?jumping contest? and that ?two boys kicked him? when they jumped together and he landed hard on the floor and became unconscious.
As the challenge gained momentum, more kids have taken up the challenge and have shared the video of the same on various social media platforms.

Samsung Galaxy M31 India Launch Set for February 25, Key Specifications Revealed

Samsung Galaxy M31 is set to launch in India on February 25, a microsite officially created by the company revealed. The new Samsung phone, which will debut as the successor to the Galaxy M30, will include a 64-megapixel primary shooter. The microsite on the Samsung India website also shows the presence of a quad rear camera setup on the Galaxy M31 that would be available in a rectangular-shaped module. The Galaxy M31 is also seen to retain the gradient back finish that was featured on the Galaxy M-series phones last year.
The official microsite shows that the Samsung Galaxy M31 launch in India will take place at 12pm (noon) IST on February 25. However, it is unclear whether Samsung will host an event to conduct the launch or just live stream the development through its social media channels.

    Samsung Galaxy M31 specifications

Apart from revealing the launch schedule, the microsite created by Samsung highlights some of the key specifications of the Galaxy M31. It shows that the smartphone will feature a full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display panel. The microsite also shows the rear camera setup of the smartphone that will offer a 64-megapixel primary shooter, as initially teased last week. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor can also be seen on the renders featured on the microsite.
Besides, the microsite notes that the Samsung Galaxy M31 will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery. This is bigger than the 5,000mAh battery powering the Samsung Galaxy M30.
The given list of specifications suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M31 will debut as a new affordable contender by the South Korean company against the likes of the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 5 Pro. However, the exact pricing of the new smartphone is yet to be revealed to help us give a clear judgement.
If we go by the recent rumours, the Samsung Galaxy M31 would run Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top and come with the Exynos 9611 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone is also rumoured to have two distinct configurations -- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
Alongside the Galaxy M31, Samsung is speculated to have the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M21 as two of its other new smartphone models under the Galaxy M series. The company, however, hasn't yet revealed any details beyond the arrival of the Galaxy M31. Display

what is coronavirus and what are the symptoms

What is the virus causing the illness in Wuhan?

It is a member of the coronavirus family that has never been encountered before. Like other coronaviruses, it has come from animals. Many of those initially infected either worked or frequently shopped in the Huanan seafood wholesale market in the centre of the Chinese city, which also sold live and newly slaughtered animals.

    Have there been other coronaviruses?

New and troubling viruses usually originate in animal hosts. Ebola and flu are other examples, and severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars) and Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome (Mers) are both caused by coronaviruses that came from animals. In 2002, Sars spread virtually unchecked to 37 countries, causing global panic, infecting more than 8,000 people and killing more than 750. Mers appears to be less easily passed from human to human, but has greater lethality, killing 35% of about 2,500 people who have been infected.

What are the symptoms caused by the Wuhan coronavirus?

The virus causes pneumonia. Those who have fallen ill are reported to suffer coughs, fever and breathing difficulties. In severe cases there can be organ failure. As this is viral pneumonia, antibiotics are of no use. The antiviral drugs we have against flu will not work. If people are admitted to hospital, they may get support for their lungs and other organs as well as fluids. Recovery will depend on the strength of their immune system. Many of those who have died were already in poor health.

Is the virus being transmitted from one person to another?

China?s national health commission has confirmed human-to-human transmission, and there have been such transmissions elsewhere. As of 9 February, there have been at least 800 deaths from the virus worldwide. Infections inside China stand at almost 37,200 and global infections have passed 280 in 28 countries. The mortality rate is 2%. Two members of one family have been confirmed to have the virus in the UK, a third person was diagnosed with it in Brighton, and a fourth is being treated in London, after more than 400 were tested and found negative. The Foreign Office has urged UK citizens to leave China if they can. Five new cases in France are British nationals, and British nationals are also among the 64 cases on a cruise liner off Japan. The number of people to have contracted the virus could be far higher, as people with mild symptoms may not have been detected. Modelling by World Health Organization (WHO) experts at Imperial College London suggests there could be as many as 100,000 cases, with uncertainty putting the margins between 30,000 and 200,000.

Why is this worse than normal influenza, and how worried are the experts?

We don?t yet know how dangerous the new coronavirus is, and we won?t know until more data comes in. The mortality rate is around 2%. However, this is likely to be an overestimate since many more people are likely to have been infected by the virus but not suffered severe enough symptoms to attend hospital, and so have not been counted. For comparison, seasonal flu typically has a mortality rate below 1% and is thought to cause about 400,000 deaths each year globally. Sars had a death rate of more than 10%. Another key unknown, of which scientists should get a clearer idea in the coming weeks, is how contagious the coronavirus is. A crucial difference is that unlike flu, there is no vaccine for the new coronavirus, which means it is more difficult for vulnerable members of the population ? elderly people or those with existing respiratory or immune problems ? to protect themselves. Hand-washing and avoiding other people if you feel unwell are important. One sensible step is to get the flu vaccine, which will reduce the burden on health services if the outbreak turns into a wider epidemic.

Should I go to the doctor if I have a cough?

Anyone who has travelled to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the last two weeks and is experiencing cough or fever or shortness of breath should stay indoors and call NHS 111, even if symptoms are mild, the NHS advises.

    Is the outbreak a pandemic?

Health experts are starting to say it could become a pandemic, but right now it falls short of what the WHO would consider to be one. A pandemic, in WHO terms, is ?the worldwide spread of a disease?. Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in about 25 countries outside China, but by no means in all 195 on the WHO?s list. It is also not spreading within those countries at the moment, except in a very few cases. By far the majority are travellers who picked up the virus in China.

    Should we panic?

No. The spread of the virus outside China is worrying but not an unexpected development. The WHO has declared the outbreak to be a public health emergency of international concern, and says there is a ?window of opportunity? to halt the spread of the disease. The key issues are how transmissible this new coronavirus is between people and what proportion become severely ill and end up in hospital. Often viruses that spread easily tend to have a milder impact. Healthcare workers could be at risk if they unexpectedly came across someone with respiratory symptoms who had travelled to an affected region. Generally, the coronavirus appears to be hitting older people hardest, with few cases in children.

    BARCODE SOLUTIONS

A barcode system is a network of hardware and software, consisting primarily of mobile computers, printers, handheld scanners, infrastructure, and supporting software. Barcode systems are used to automate data collection where hand recording is neither timely or cost effective. Barcoding systems are not radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems even though the companies that provide barcode equipment will often also provide RFID equipment and many companies use both technologies as part of larger resource management systems.

    HARDWARE

There is a wide range of hardware that is manufactured today for use in Barcode Systems. The best known brand of handheld scanners and mobile computers is Symbol, which is now a division of Motorola. Other manufacturers include Intermec, HHP (Hand Held Products), Microscan Systems, Unitech, Metrologic, PSC and PANMOBIL.

    SOFTWARE

While there is a range of hardware on the market, software is more difficult to find from the hardware manufacturers. Some ERP, MRP, and other inventory management software have built in support for barcode reading and some even allow the software to run directly on a mobile computer. Besides full management software, there are more than a few software development kits on the market that allow the developer to easily produce custom mobile interfaces and that handle the connect to the database. One such software is RFgen another is PeopleVox. Then there is always the option of developing a custom software solution, using a language such as C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic.NET, and many others. Often developing a custom interface using software such as RFgen or developing new, personalized software is the most effective method since it allows the individual to have a solution that is fitted to their exact needs.

    TYPICAL SYSTEM

A typical barcode system consist of some infrastructure, either wired or wireless that connects some number of mobile computers, handheld scanners, and printers to one or many databases that store and analyze the data collected by the system. At some level there must be some software to manage the system. The software may be as simple as code that manages the connection between the hardware and the database or as complex as an ERP, MRP, or some other inventory management software.
